I’m sure you’ve heard of Lys\u00e1. Many of you have even experienced your first ski trip here or visited it regularly for the pleasure of more demanding slopes\u2026 It has been ten years since the last time the seat was taken to the ski slopes. The last lifts were launched two years ago. Apart from the fact that it was not like going to “pull out” in the winter, Lys\u00e1 always relied purely on natural snow.<\/p>\n

Do you want to know what has been going on all this time so that we can return Lys\u00e1 to you?<\/h4>\n

NEW SNOW SYSTEM<\/h3>\n

If there was no snow, the season was shorter or not at all. For many years, Lys\u00e1 was depending only on natural snow. These times are over. For the first time, the resort can rely on a snowmaking system to enjoy the season for the length it deserves.<\/p>\n

RENOVATED CHAIRLIFT<\/h3>\n

The \u201celevator to take you up\u201d is back! We are pleased to announce that we have managed to reconstruct a two-seater seat that will pull you from the bottom up to the slopes. Another novelty is that the chairlift will be in operation all year round. Even in the summer you save energy, we will take you upstairs!<\/p>\n

NO GOING BY FEET ANYMORE<\/h3>\n

Remember how you still had to tread from the seat to the slope? That’s how it used to be. Now, after chairlift take-off, an approach ski lift is already waiting for you. It will bring you to the slopes straight away.<\/p>\n

SLOPE ALSO FOR BEGINNERS<\/h3>\n

Lys\u00e1 was known for its red and black tracks as a ski resort for more advanced skiers. We would like to invite and welcome beginners, starting this season! We adapted part of the lower slope and one lift for beginners. Lys\u00e1 wants to be here for every ski level, children and the elderly, beginners and advanced.<\/p>\n

OPEN AIR RESTAURANT AND BAR<\/h3>\n

So far, you could only visit inside of \u0160PORT mountain hut restaurant for meal&drinks during your visit. Already this winter we cordially invite you to a huge outdoor terrace with an area of \u200b\u200bmore than 300m\u00b2. Our mountain staff will offer you delicious food, drinks and as a bonus – a beautiful view of the valley. Just order and here comes your delights!<\/p>\n

UPGRADED ACCOMMODATION<\/h3>\n

The legendary mountain hut \u0160port boasts a long history, a wonderful atmosphere and a unique location right on the slopes. We decided to keep its mountain touch, but we got used to improving the quality of accommodation in the way of upgrading the interiors. From new carpets, bathrooms to a brand new ski room or social areas.<\/p>\n

We sincerely look forward to every news that we have managed to bring to the resort this year. We plan to develop SKI LYS\u00c1 to use its great potential, which we truly see in it.
